With ebay, you have to go in knowing what something is worth. The
Apple High Speed SCSI, for example, is reasonably priced at
$65 because in most parts this card is rather rare. Yes, if you are
lucky enough to live near the thrift shops of certain metropoliton
hot-spots of Apple II donations/school districts, then you might be
able to find them cheap, but to most people in areas not so
fortunate, $65 for the capability of the High Speed card is well
worth it. In my opinion, it is better to spend $65 for the High Speed
card than $5 for a CMS card (or even $10 for a low speed SCSI
card, Apple brand). If it goes over $65, then just sit and wait for
the next one.
The good part about ebay is that everything shows up at one
time or another so as long as you know how much something
is worth to you relative to how rare it is, this place lets you get
it. So whatever the bad with ebay, there is also good. ;-)
