Unfortunately none of those sites list any detailed specifications for
the device. What I would like to know is what the VGA input can
accept and what the SVGA output will handle.

I want to know if I can take the RGB out from my IIgs and hook it up
to the VGA input of the VBox and hook the SVGA out to my SVGA monitor
and have the VBox do the 15.75KHz to 31.5KHz conversion for me so that
the image on my SVGA monitor will turn out correctly. Kind of like
what the scan doublers for the Amiga are supposed to do.

If anyone finds a site that lists all the technical specifications of
this box, please let me know.

I don't think you can compare them as it seems to me that this device
only allows you to share your SVGA monitor with your PC and a
composite and/or S-video source. The SecondSight card allowed you to
hook up a PC monitor to your IIgs and get RGB sharpness as well as
giving all the PC text and SVGA modes (coloured text, 640x480, 800x600
and 1024x768 resolutions as well as up to 16.7 million colours).
