ROM
I have a ROM chip and I want to copy the $C8 ROM from it. I figured I
could just switch in it's $C8 rom and then BSAVE it, but it appears
that the Disk II controller switches in its $C8 when you use the
controller :).
I would like to open a text file and save the source in it, I guess.
Is there any other method for copying the area from $C800 to $CFFF? I
could use the monitor memory move command and then save.. Maybe I
posted too soon...
I've been learning alot about how the slots in an Apple II work lately,
and the machine is really quite a piece of work.
I own the Apple II reference manual and it's got some good information
about the slots, and I've been experimenting with simple circuits on a
prototype board. Are there any online sources for slot information and
I/O engineering/programming techniques? I'd really like to get a good
book about it. Are there any available?
PS, is there another news-reader from the web like Deja news? Deja
news breaks about once every 2 weeks.
