...Help....HD problem..!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone help.
I still use an Apple IIGS in my small business. I wrote all of my
programs in Applesoft basic 15 years ago. My system handles a ton of
data everyday. My HD is partitioned into 4 volumes A:B:C:D....C contains
all of my data files...5000 clients, 80,000 service records L475 each..
I cannot access the C drive. I can view the data using the Salvation bit
editor so I know it's there, but my volume directory must be messed up
and I do not know where it is located or exactly how to fix it.
I can't copy the files because I do not have enough space left on the HD
to relocate them to another volume, and I haven't figured out how to
copy them to multiple floppies (after one is full the program does not
lead to adding to another floppie).
Can anyone offer any technical information that will help me tackle this
problem, OR know of anyone that can recover this information for me. $$$
is not a problem. I MUST get this drive back up.
It is frustarting because I can view all of the data in the bit editor,
but I can't get to it.
