Here, I go. Opening the door for the anonymous posters to make wise-assed
remarks that I will never see...

So you want to improve the performance of your accelerator card and the
firmware is copyrighted by an out-of-business company. Legally, you cannot do
this without the copyright holders permission. So, suck it up and use your
accelerator the way it is! Don't upgrade it and violate the law! Heck,
somewhere there is a copyright holder of the firmware who doesn't even know
that this thread exists. Look at it with those rose-colored glasses. At least
your GS is faster than a stock model GS. ;)
