I don't think so -- one thing I truly liked about CP/M was that it's
not single-platform, it's multi-platform. All other microcomputer
OS'es of that time were single-platform only. The advantage of a
multiplatform OS is the ability to exchange files with people running
other platforms, if they run the same multiplaform OS, that is. And
one practical obstacle had to be overcome: there were some 100+
different disk formats used by various CP/M machines.

It was fixed in DOS 3.3, where one TS list could chain into another one,
if needed.
