The problem with writing a program to convert GIF files to HGR and vice-versa
is the cost of getting licensed to use the GIF encryption in your program. The
last time I check, it was very expensive. 

I still recommend the usage of SuperConvert 4.0 from Seven Hills Software. It
IS the BEST conversion program available for the GS. A review is available at
