The Apple Thesaurus by Aaron Filler is a reference book on the Apple II
(before the GS). Copywrite 1984 it has prices of many items used by the II
and it notes that prices fluctuated, so the quote is the latest current they
could find. There is no price for the complete setup or cpu
Apple Computer offered the monitor II for $230, applemouse, $150, joystick
$60, parallel interface $165, super serial card $225, modem 300 for $225,
modem 300/1200 for $495, the LQ was $2,195, imagewriter $595, laser printer
$5000, duodisk by Thinline was (2x140k) $800, a 3.5" 400k was $495 and ta da
the 70 meg hard disk was $7,000.
Call A.P.P.L.E. Nov/Dec. 1981 lists an Apple III for $3,255. Many ads tell
you to call for prices.
