That's the problem with Apple and the old Steve Jobs
vision. There has to be ONE evil entity. Then it was
IBM and thus Apple was blinded when Microsoft snuck
up from behind. Now it is Windows+Intel (Wintel),
also a myth as AMD has proven.
When will Mac users learn that the computing world
of today is dynamic and the competition is not
between two players but many?
I, for one, would like to see benchmarks comparing
the fastest G4 to the 1Ghz AMD chip.
If AMD makes good on its promise of a 1.5Ghz
model soon, G4 emulation might not be too far off.
Or at least earlier revision PowerPC emulation.
