Re: Apple and the Holy War

I guess I have not actually USED the last two upgraded of Mac OS but win 98 is
really pretty good. And it appears that you can now keep your pc more than one
year before it gets antiquated. That is one major reason why I am warming up
to win 98 as a great long term solution. It crashes and does a few annoying
things but so did Mac OS. When they said Mac89 = Win95 they were also talking
about crashing. But it seems Win98 has about caught up with Mac OS because
Mac89 = Mac2000. The only major difference seems to be that the MacOS is just
as bloated as windows.

Certainly one of the major assets for me is the ease at which keystrokes can be
replaced for mouse clicks as I am such a clutz at using a mouse. I have had
people tell me MacOS could also accept keystrokes for many things but it is so
hard to figure out what they are. Many times there seems to be little
documentation for those shortcuts.
