    Well, there is a way to see if the SCSI doesn't work at all.  Fire
up Chinook SCSI Utilities.  It will tell you you if it sees an Apple
SCSI card (revision "C" or later).  If it says it can't see a SCSI
card, then your SCSI card doesn't have a prayer of functioning.  If
CSU gets as far as telling you that it can't find a hard drive then
you have a SCSI card that, at least, isn't toast.
