There were some programs for the Apple II family that used 'dongles'. I
had a couple of those in years past (specialized software for
scoring/profiling tests). At least in the cases I know of (including
some others I saw but never used/owned) the dongles were made to fit a
serial/modem or joystick port (IIC) instead of an adb port. Think about
it...if it was made for an adb port on an Apple II, then it would have
had to be IIGS specific. I'm not saying it couldn't have been, just
that it seems unlikely?
