Then you have no reason to be demoralized. If your
market research tells you 'the net' will produce sales
for SAM then your claim of demoralization is false. ;o)

Only if they have Spectrum. I was unable to buy Spectrum in a
usable form.

U.S. Mail has nothing to do with it. There is no floppy
drive on an iMac.

Again, the US Mail has nothing to do with it. I have bought
CD-Roms from Shareware Solutions II for use with my
Bernie/iMac combination.  MyEysore refused to do so. They
(actually, Earl, I didn't hear from Dave) refused my request
to email me the software so I could load it onto Bernie
while the disks and manuals came via surface. In contrast,
Shareware Solutions II offered me Resource Centrals
HyperCard magazine and A2 Central magazine, as well
as the TABBS files all on CD-Rom, which is usable on my
iMac/Bernie combo and I gladly purchased them. (Studio City
purchase still to come).

Also in contrast, the Byte Works
declined to burn a CD-Rom for me with their products but
Mike Westerfield has (on numerous occasions) sent the
software to me as a Diskcopy image through email. The
manuals came US Mail. MyEysore doesn't think a sale
is worth any effort, apparently. They can conduct business
however they choose to. You can't sell me a copy of
SAM because I can't buy a copy of Spectrum. If, I had
a copy of Spectrum, would you sell me SAM via email
or CD-Rom? Sending an email attachment requires
very little effort. Intrec allows Proterm Mac to be
downloaded. A bit more effort on their part but they
want a sale. MyEysore doesn't give a hoot.

Only if they have Spectrum. I was unable to buy Spectrum in a
usable form. True, you don't have to do a hard sell, but you
don't have to whine either. If your market research tells you
that sales will be brisk, and they are, then fine. There isn't
a need to be demoralized. If Shareware Solutions II is in
business for ego gratification "Hey Joe, great job! We
need you Joe, you are Woz reincarnated" then you are
just another Turley. (I don't believe that, I am just making
a point).

If I had Spectrum......well, that isn't your fault. Still, I stand
by my original assesment of your statement. You
shouldn't be demoralized. If you are, you didn't do your
homework.
