Concerning question 1 - most like it's preliminary., as I've been advised that
only 12 such 65832 CPU manuals were ever released from WDC. When I contacted
WDC about it they informed me that they didn;t even have a copy of it around
any longer.
But, I have seen reference posted by somebody - I forget just whom - in this
newsgroup in the past year or two - to the 65c832 CPU being used in some other
device and have actually seen one of the 65c832 CPU
prototype chips from WDC myself before - shown to me by an old Apple IIgs past
usergroup Pres. -here in the S.F. bay area - about six years ago.
Concerning question 2 - the original that the scan of all pages was made from
was mine. I showed it to Woz at a past rock concert he invited me to attend
with him - several years ago, (in 1996 as I recall) and he signed the front
cover page after he reviewed it with much facination for about half an hour -
during that rock concert. BTW, even Woz had never seen such before I showed
it to him.
I trust that answers your wondering about both.
Cheers,
Tom
