IIgs SCSI vs Floppy Bootup

I was just reading the disk faq,
I saw that there was some mention of using a SCSI card and freezing
during boot.  On ocasion, when I boot my ROM1/WOZ IIgs, it sits there
presumeably thing about weather or not I have a SCSI drive.  This
happens a bit after loading ProDOS.  I don't really find it a problem,
just means I have to wait 15 or 20 seconds longer to boot up.  Does
anyone else expereince this?
