It will go roughly as high, provided you have two collectors
ready to pay top dollar for an original Red Book.

In my opinion, the hands-on imperative trumps copyright law in
this case. I have no use for Red Book scans as I have my own
Red Book, but I think it will be a good thing to have this
information on the Internet. I know you disagree, but I would
rather not take part in yet another csa2 piracy thread.

I've seen original versions of early Ultimas go for lots of money,
even though the publisher offers the same software on "Classic"
CD-ROM collections.
