I don't think so. Money is very scarce now and is not an issue at all. I
believe they (we) are trying to protect our time spent, effort, and personal
satisfaction at creating something that other users will enjoy.
I would add that at no time have I ever been part of that "clique," and in fact
when I came to the web, I found the descriptive term "vogons" to be accurate
and funny. However, the continuing aggravating situations which occur on this
board have now caused me to hunker down as well (although not with them).
It would be good if there were more dialogue between the new, free publications
and the established ("print") ones, rather than just taking without asking.
