AppleColor RGB and VCR?

Hi all,

Lately I've been using an AppleColor Composite monitor IIc with a VCR 
and speakers as a makeshift TV.  Even though it states that its a color 
monitor, it will NOT show color.  I've tried everything and it shows 
shades of blue.  Is there a way to hook the VCR to an extra AppleColor 
RGB monitor that I have lying around? (it's the IIGS monitor)
