Corrupted 'Finder'

Hello All,

This is my first journey into the APPLE/MAC world, so please be gentle. ;)

I have just acquired a MacIntosh IIcx (nearly complete) and when it boots I
get a message indicating that the "Finder" file is missing or currupt. The
message continues to state that the Installer can be used to repair the
disk. When I press Restart the system just reboots and I get the same
message all over again.

I have downloaded .HQX copies of system 6.0.3 and 7.0. Unfortunately, I am
normally an IBM person and have no clue how I could possibly get the files
over to the IIcx so that I may reinstall the OS.

I have read the FAQ's in this group but I have gotten more confused than
enlightened.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Cameron
