Is anybody out there?

I haven't gotten any new posts in the four newsgroups I'm posting this to
for a few days now. What gives?

This happened once before with alt.tv.simpsons.

What is the world coming to? Is Y2K three months late or something? Just
today, I wasn't able to get onto any web sites at school, my computer
froze three times, and a file transfer to my web page got cut off in the
middle of it.

And despite giving GraphicConverter _twelve_ more megabytes of memory, it
still won't open a 7MB TIFF file that it said it only needed _eight_ more
megabytes of memory in order to open anyway.

I am soooo frustrated with this dead hunk of silicon I call my PowerMac 7100/66.
