First, you need to look at the serial card and which slot it is
in. Slots start at 1 by the power supply up to 7. The normal slot for a
printer is 1. You can put as many serial cards as you want,
but 2 is the practical limit. Slot 2 is the normal modem slot. Ok,
look at the serial card and see if it says SUPER SERIAL. If so,
it is easy to change it to a modem mode.
As for Prodos, I think it depends on which version you use. AFAIK,
the latest version requires a 65c02 cpu and 64k aux ram. This
extra ram can be on the small Apple card or another vendor's card.
As for forth, There are a few out there, and at least one has the
source code. I'm not positive, but I think it's named Purple
Forth. This version is for prodos, some of the others are for Dos
3.3. I know there's at least one user here that programs in forth.
Maybe he'll help you out here.
