     Don't know. There is a small pic of the card at
http://www.apple2.org/images/InterfaceCards/Sound.Music/EchoPlus.JPEG . It
seems to be a later Echo than the Echo II which appears to have an IC large
enough to be good Programmable Sound Generator. So, the "+" may mean that the
card offers musical tones and sound effects as well as speech.

     There is a decent chance that the card would work with Echo II software.

     Had the IIgs been fully supported by Apple after its introduction, there
would have been more rapid speed and RAM upgrades together with better
integration of networking hardware in GS System. As things stand, the IIgs is
a much more stable system when running as a 'stand alone' computer with all
networking support drivers, INITs, FSTs, etc. removed.
