The first two numbers (05) indicate that the GS failed the Speed Test. 
The second two numbers (01) indicate that it's stuck in slow speed.

I'd never seen that one before, so I turned my TWGS off by setting it 
and System speed to Normal, but my GS still passed the Self Test. Try the 
Self Test again, with the TWGS set to TransWarp speed, and see if the 
results are any different.

If your TWGS passed the Quick Self-Test, maybe you should leave it on 
overnight, running the TWGS Continuous Self-Test.

Performing diagnostics is a process of eliminating all possible causes. 
So, you could always remove the TWGS, put back the original 65816, and if 
it still fails the self test, at least that would mean that the TWGS 
is not the cause of the problem. 

You could also gently pry up the TWGS connector, and make sure there's no 
corrosion or dirt on the contacts. Be very careful, as it's not that 
difficult to bend or break a pin on the TWGS connector (yes, I speak from 
experience.)

Good luck, and if all else fails, I hear that GSAUG has amassed quite a 
few donated IIGS systems, so be nice to Matthew and maybe he'll give you 
one ;-)
