Tom, I didn't even read Jeff's statement, but after perusing yours, I have to
agree with Jeff. (Except that I have never read GS WorldView and can't
comment). It would be a lot more perfect - not to mention pleasant -  around
here if piracy would just go away. Failing that, a statement included with each
recommendation to an unauthorized upload would be very appropriate, especially
with newcomers who may wish to know this before downloading. You are always
addressing the users' "needs," well, this is something they definitely "need"
to know.

Apparently the only way they will know is if Jeff and others keep posting this
fact. Thank goodness this forum allows anyone to express their views. 

The only thing I don't agree with is about Trenco, as the 2 times I've been
there I found inaccurate info (i.e., less than the best available). A minor
point, in view of the overbearing piracy issue. Why not give it a rest -
