Have you checked the CRT FAQ at:

(later version than on the REPAIR pages). I think it has some additional
stuff on monitor screen repair. However, I don't know of any approach that
is reasonable for antiglare coated screens short of polishing the entire
thing - any attempt locally will result in an unsightly blemish!
