Dogged Determination or sumthin...

Success! I have for some time been attempting to get an ancient CMS card to
wake up and smell the SCSI!
Well thanks to Our friendly teach Louis from whom I got the CMS, Goodwill and
some unknown who tossed a GCC Ultradrive, and another who unloaded a Rodime.
And also thanks to Ed's archives that had exactly the CMS utility I needed,
and also a 1989 write-up called "Roll Your Own SCSI Drive", I now have 2
SCSI drives with a total of 50 megs on my //e! Yes, my //e. There are those
of us who actually prefer that olde beast to this new-fangled GS thang! ;-)
Let me describe my antique on steroids: This is a Platinum (has the 10-key
pad) //e with a standard 65c02, no accelerator (Uh.. anybody got a spare Zip
or TW?). Memory: Ramworks II I meg,
Slot 1: is a Grappler + attached to (of course) an Imagewriter II,
2: is a SSC connected to a 486 for the occasional ADT transfer
 4: Mousecard,
5: CMS SCSI, on the aforementioned GCC and Rodime,
 6: 5..25 card on a Duodisk,
7: Network card connected to a IIsi on a 300 meg drive.

Ain't junk fun?
