Well, I'm not running the 3.5" drive through it yet. The card itself
reads "Apple Computer" with the Apple Logo on it, and "I/O Controller"
followed by a serial number.

UniDisk card? From Apple?

You mean install another card?

Well, I'm pretty sure that's the only one I can use, since it's IIgs
monitor. What about the older color Apple II monitors?
Actually, I want to get the IIe up and running as fast as possible.
Just a simple configuration- A 5.25" UniDisk, 3.5" drive, color monitor
and some good old game disks to run.
The IIgs is a great machine, but the Apple //e is the machine I most
like in case design and simplicity. The original Apple IIe was okay, but
I see the Apple //e (enhanced) as the "perfected" Apple II, which
exapanded upon the original but did not lose the basic design.
In any case, the Apple II was the first computer I used.
