No, sorry. address -16368 or 49168 (add 65536!) is KBDSTR, the
address that clears the keyboard.
The number of pokes the program you mention does, may create a
machine language routine that does the scrolling. Is there a CALL
involved? if so, you can go to the monitor with MTR and then look at
the generated machine language with the command xxxL (where xxx is
the hexadecimal representation of the CALL address). To return to
Basic type ctrl-C or press reset.
On the other hand, if the pokes you mention are to the zero page
(addresses < 256) if may be that the text window is changed in order
to do the scrolling. See Jon Bettencourt's zero page listing.
Oh, by the way, would it be possible to turn your HTML off?
Personaly, I don't mind, but some newsreader programs show all those
HTML tags in full, which isn't very nice to read.
