Many many years ago i did that for DOS 3.3.
The remote machine was an Atari 1040 ST and the
reveiving program was written in Omicron Basic.
It created normal disk images in DOS order.
The client part hooked itself into the RWTS
and then sent/received the data via the Super
Serial Card.
