Anybody built a remote file system/laplink for the ][

I've emailed a few people and they have never heard of this. I
have a bunch of old ][ and ][gs stuff.
I want to get it on my computer. Currently, I'm doing the
shrinkit/quit/proterm thing. This is starting to take way
too long.

So, I was thinking. Has anyone ever seen a program that installs
a driver into Prodos 8 that will create a virtual
disk device that is really a unix box running a server on a
serial port?

This way I could just do shrinkit disk images right to this
virtual disk and avoid a lot of hassle.
