Semi-functional TransWarpGS?

What doesn't work:
-GS/OS freezes before the loading-progress meter gets anywhere.
-ProDOS 16 doesn't load, either.
-The TransWarpGS CDA doesn't get installed into my CDA menu.

What does work:
-7MHz speed, switchable to 1MHz from IIgs textual control panel
-Power-on animation and sound effects
-The little green light on the TransWarpGS
-Applesoft BASIC, ADT

What I've tried:
-Buying a 14MHz CPU from WDC--I left in the original oscillator; I
 just thought it may be a bad CPU, but this CPU swap had no effect.
-Pushing every chip down into their sockets
-Removing all other cards, including my GS-RAM Plus

The 40-pin header seems to go into my IIgs's CPU socket a little too
easily...Maybe I could bend the pins outward or inward or something
for a tighter fit?

-ROM 01
-TransWarpGS v1.5
-Apple Extended Keyboard II

What should I do next?  Buy another little cable?  Get another cache?
Get something to clean the contacts?  Beat the snot outta this $150
piece of garbage?
