Who said anything about setting them all up on desks? :-)
Usually, when I need one of those machine set up to play with, I end
up putting it where ever is convenient at the time. Be that my
electronic work bench, kitchen counter, my bed, a chair, the floor or
where ever doesn't really matter much to me. :-)
At present I have my main Apple IIgs and a Pentium II sharing a desk
and the rest of my computers are shelved. I need to set the Mac IIsi
back up again someday and I need to set up a machine to be the server
to my cable modem. I've often thought about setting up a second IIgs
on a stand by my bed too but haven't gotten around to doing that yet.
Someday I'll have a nice place of my own that I can set up the
computer room of my dreams and then I'll really start having fun. :-)
