I'm going to try and hook my Apple up to my AT&T 6300, using a straight thru
cable. I'll let you know if I run into any problems doing that, and any
fixes that I find.

If it will work with the 6300, then it should work with your XT. In fact, if
anything will work with the 6300, then it should work with any other system
that's every been built, except maybe an HP150.
