     GScii v2.3.1 seems to be immune to normal Text mode corruption-- i.e.
the addition of $0A's after $0D's (and $0D's before $0A's) which occurs to
Text files (and files taken to be Text files) during some PC transfers.

     In a test with a .bsq file, GScii correctly converted files having only
$0A line enders, only $0D line enders, and $0D $0A line enders.

     It could help to supply more details about how the files were downloaded
and from where as well as how they were transferred to your IIgs.
