Re: IIgs monitor?

If you really have an Apple High Resolution 13" RGB Monitor (Model
M0401)...it was made for Macs. Note that it takes a special cable
(590-4161-A [5ft long cable] or 590-0161-A [3 ft long cable]) to work
on those. This was an expensive, heavy monitor for its day, and still
the one I prefer to use on older macs...IICx, IICi, IISi, etc. due to
its sharp, clear picture and good color. They also seem to be very well
made and durable...I've seen very few with major problems.

The Apple IIGS monitor is the AppleColor RGB, also 13 inch, but model
A2M6014 and uses cable 590-0536-A.

These are easily distinguished visually, as the back of the IIGS montior
is curved in the horizontal plane...while the mac monitor is more of a
cube, with a flat back.

Which one do you have?
