What is this connector?



I opened up my ROM 3 IIgs. I found a two-pin connector marked something
like S1 (the S looked more like an upside-down 5 to me). Its on the
middle-right side of the motherboard (looking from the front of the
machine) and its near parts labeled RP1, RP2, UF13 SCC, and LS51(?). Does
anybody know what this connector does?
