Unidisk Lobotomy?

Has any one else tried the ï¿½Unidisk Lobotomyï¿½ and have they had
success? I have half a dozen 3.5ï¿½ unidisks that exactly match the
descriptions of the modifiable ones in the posting. The lobotomy
doesnï¿½t work with any of them. Am I just having bad luck or is
the lobotomy bogus?
