error message : RAM 0000001

Hello everybody,
first please excuse me if some of my sentence are not understandable.
I'm french and still make lot of mistakes !

This is my problem : somebody gave me two apple ][e this afternoon which
I tried to make work this evening. I also get the original apple
documentation, two monitors and two duodisk.

The first apple ][e (a 6502) works fine but the keyboard is out of order
since something heavy may have fallen on it.

The other ][e (a 65c02) is in much better apparent state, but don't
works. when I put a system disk into the drive and put it on, it makes
the bit, the line "apple ][e" appears on the screen, then the floppy
drive makes the typical noise, and the screen becomes black with fsix
green pixels like this :

                                .
                                .

                                .
        .

        .
        .

I read the documentation and made the hardware test (I press
(apple)+ctrl+reset) and it gaves me the message : RAM 0000001

I read the FAQ of this forum, and gave the answer : one of my RAM chips
is dead.

My question is : could I replace this chip with a standard 4164 8ko
memory chip ? or should I search for another referency ?
