Re: AppleColor RGB lines
Thank you. I'm going to hope it either resolves itself or I come
across a cheap AppleColor RGB to replace it with.
Incidentally, is there any solution that would not involve assembling
my own cables (never done that before, not looking to start) but that
would nonetheless allow me to connect the IIgs RGB-out to either a VGA
monitor or an S-Video TV? I've read about the Australian/New Zealand
S-CART converter cable. Is there a way to use that to put the signal
into S-CART and then use another intermediary to put the signal into
VGA such that it can go into a normal monitor, or 31.5 khz S-Video
such that it can go into an S-Video TV? Or even 31.5 khz separate-
component plugs (the differentiated parts that are combined in a
"composite" plug)?
I would love to not have to rely on a 25-year-old monitor--and to be
able to junk & replace the monitor whenever necessary.
