The 5 pins do NOT connect to the motherboard. There is a matching 5 pin
plug that attaches either to a switchplate assembly or to a cable with an
RCA jack. I don't have the switchplate. Mine does have a video out cable
that attaches to those 5 pins. The monitor the plugs into this cable.
The 5 pins from top to bottom are:Ground, Video, -5 v., +12 v., and light pen.
Once the monitor is connected, PR#3 should work fine.When you want to
switch back to 40 columns, enter PR#0 and then IN#0.
