   The Videx card came with a softswitch too, that was a small circuit board
that plugged into the motherboard.  This allowed software switching, and no
flipping of a manual switch was needed.  The little board plugged into a 9334
or 74LS259 chip on the motherboard. The softswitch was a small PCB, about 1"
square.
