Your praise of Rubywand is well founded. He has helped many users
with problems concerning file/disk transfers between computers.

As for your question, there are a few ways to do this. I don't know
the programs, I use the Apple Oasis utilities if I need to transfer the
files to an image on the PC. It supports almost all the major disk
image formats and is simple to use. As an added benefit, you can
perform a quick test of the file/disk with the emulator or if you have
the proper tools setup, you can quickly unpack the archives.

You could also transfer the file using terminal programs. Since you have
a working null modem, you are half way there. just set up the term
programs to use a null modem connection and transfer as many files
as you need. If you have a large ram disk, send them to it for a little
speed boost then you can sort and copy them to what ever disk you want.
If on the other hand you have a working hard drive, just download them
straight to the drive.
