Does the G3 have standard Mac serial ports?  (if it's USB only, I'm out of
my league.)
Assuming standard serial ports, I've used Zterm (shareware Mac com program
available on the net) and Agate (shareware Apple II com program) which both
have Zmodem. That works pretty well for transferring files via a null-modem
cable.  Zmodem is preferable to Xmodem, as far as I'm concerned. :) I think
I've uploaded to my IIgs in batch mode, selecting a group of files and
sending them. That's one of the advantages of Zmodem.

 I usually use a PC, though, instead of one of my Macs, to avoid forking the
files.
