I started out in middle school on the old IIes. Then one day the school
got a sweet Mac SE. However, the wait was long before I bought my first
apple computer. About a year ago I found a Mac Classic II for real
cheap and I loved it. Since then I've been snatching up every apple
that I can find (and afford). I now have an SE, SE/30, Plus, 512, IIe,
IIc, Portable, and Q650. However, about a month ago I hit the mother
load (according to hindsight). I went to my local Value Village and
what did I see? A sparkling IIgs with monitor, mouse, joystick,
software, and printer for $30. But what did I do? "I'll come back and
get it tomorrow..." I'd like to end my story here before I get too
upset.
