The Profile is a slow and low capacity hard drive designed
for the Lisa. Retrofit controller cards were later designed
for the Apple III and Apple II. But the IIGS required yet
another retrofit ROM for the Apple II Profile card.
Considering Lisa collectors have no choice but to use a
Profile, try selling it on eBay with a minimum bid of $80.
Then use the money to buy the $79 Focus 500MB
hardcard for your IIGS from http://www.allelec.com/
Alltech Electronics. It is about 490MB larger than the
Profile and ten times faster. ;-) It also comes with the
IIGS' OS preinstalled and a library of freeware and
shareware.
