Softcard and ProFile questions

I bought an Apple IIe and a profile this weekend. They were setting next to
each other on the shelf so I figured the profile card was in the IIe. I was
wrong.
But the IIe did have a Microsoft Premium Softcard IIe and a Super Serial
Card II.

How many different softcards did Microsoft make? Mine looks different than
pics I've seen of the softcard. Are there any differences between the models
other than appearance? Where can I get the disks to use this card? Will this
card work in my IIgs? Does it go in the same slot on the IIgs as the IIe?

How rare are the controller cards for the profile? Should I hang on to this
and wait
to find a controller or sell it and buy a hard drive for my IIgs?
