Basicall Apple made 5 different 3.5" disk drives and they all can be
used on the IIe. However you need the correct interface card for that
drive. The model A9M0106 you have can be used with a Universal
Disk controller card made by Vtech or Central point Software. It can
also be used with an Apple SuperDrive controlller card(part # 820-0500
on card). Or I believe with the PC Transporter card.
The most common 3.5" drive setup used with a IIe is the 3.5" UniDisk
(A2M2053) with the UniDisk controller(820-0117) sometimes refered
to as the Liron card. While this is the 3.5" drive setup you're most likely
to see on a IIe, any 3.5" drive on a IIe is very uncommon.
