Well, oddly, I've noticed that some early monitors would occasionally have
an RCA/phono plug, making you think that it is standard composite video,
but it actually expects TV RF output (merged, coax type cable connection).
My friend had a piece of coax TV cable with a phono plug on one end of it
in order to connect to an old TV/monitor he had, but I don't remember what
he did to 'convert' it.
