Jeff Blakeney has e-mail in the works and e-mail and
usenet are closely related so the e-mail reader might
one day grow into a usenet application too.
On the IIGS using Marinetti, all the apps will most
likely have to either be desk accessories or plug-ins
(XCMDs) to Spectrum.
Too bad GS-TCP/IP was never released. That would
have worked under GNO and allowed the kind of
multitasking you mention above.
