KEGS is the Linux/*nix GS emulator. With the right tools it could
be ported to Windows. A programmer with the right interest would
have to use the Cygwin tools.

Considering the differences in operating systems, it isn't fair to
compare the two. It must also be noted, KEGS has been under
development longer than XGS or maybe that would be constant
development. XGS has had several different programmers, each
with their own ideas.

While I would like to see KEGS ported, I think Mr Mentzer
should continue with his efforts. The XGS programs which
I have used had a lot of potential.
